An Abrasive Water Jet will cut through steel without heat or sparks. Therefore, it is safe to employ in explosive atmospheres.
The technology works by feeding an inert mineral into an Ultra-High Pressure water stream and guiding the resultant “abrasive jet” to where the cutting is required.
